Happy 49th Birthday to my Dad John
I want to say that I am a very lucky Girl! There are alot of you out there that your parents are still married and to them - Congratulations that is awesome. There are some of you that are in the same boat as me and your parents are not still married. I have been fortunate to have 2 Dad's for the last 12 years of my life! Having two Dad's is such a wonderful thing and I just want to say to my 2nd Dad John that I love him and thank you for all that you have done for me and taught me over the years. You are a wonderful person and Colby, Hunter, Ryleigh, Shelby and I are so grateful for all that you have given in yourself to us!
We were happy to get to spend your last year of your 40's with you last night! We love you!

Hunter's Baseball Camp
Hunter braved out the heat last week and attended the Diamondbacks baseball camp all week! He really enjoyed the camp and is ready for baseball season to start again. I knew he had it in him, but he really has improved so much from a year ago (he had not played baseball since T-Ball in Kindergarten) and I am so proud of him!

Great Grandpa's (Nicolle's Grandpa) 87th Birthday
Today July 22nd, 2009 is Grandpa's 87th birthday and last Monday July 13th, 2009 was Grandma's 83rd birthday. He is such an amazing man and if it wasn't for him and my grandma (and other relatives as well) I wouldn't be where I am today. They are such loving, caring, and selfless people and I have learned so much from them. I am very greatful and thankful for the time I have with them and that my children get to be around such an awesome couple!
Shelby's First Diamondbacks Game July 9, 2009
Thanks to our dentist, we got to take Shelby to her first Diamondbacks game! She loved it, but was extremely tired by the 7th inning! Here are a few pictures.

Kids swimming class (mainly the girls)
The kids have been doing a swimming class last week and this week. Hunter just needed to learn most of his stokes and practice them but he is a very strong swimmer. Ryleigh is a strong swimmer, just wanted her to learn more strokes and get comfortable with back stroke! Shelby was a little weak at the beginning of the summer - telling me she needed floaties. Well we all know she doesn't need floaties and we have been swimming alot in the backyard and at Grandma and Grandpas, so we really wanted to strengthen her confidence! Let me tell you what, this little girl may try to tell you she needs help, but she has done so well. She is working on learning the right way for freestyle (no more dog paddling) and floating on her back. She can do a little back stroke and is doing really well at freestyle (just have to remind her to get her butt up and keep it up!).
